3 Recurring
3 Recurring is a fine art print studio I founded in 2023, located within Dive Studio in Corktown, Detroit. Born from a desire to preserve and promote the art of lithography, the studio serves as both a personal workspace and a communal hub for artists interested in traditional printmaking techniques.
At 3 Recurring, we specialize in stone lithography and copper etching, offering workshops, studio access, and a free artist residency program. The residency provides artists with a month-long immersion in lithography, including studio access, materials, and one-on-one guidance, culminating in the creation of an edition of prints inspired by the work of their predecessor.
The studio also hosts events and exhibitions, contributing to Detroit’s vibrant artistic landscape. Through education, collaboration, and community engagement, 3 Recurring aims to make lithography accessible and relevant in today’s art world.
